On 25 October 2021, Ambassador of Australia to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Allan McKinnon PSM hosted a dinner meeting with the President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri; Vice Presidents, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Nantana Gajaseni and Prof. Dr.Sujitra Wongjasemjit at Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort. The purposes of this meeting were to exchange ideas and discuss further academic cooperation between MFU and Australia.
