CommTECH Camp Highlight 2018 (Community & Technological Camp)

Solving Local Problems with Global Knowledge

The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Indonesia has organized Project Based Learning “CommTECH Camp Highlight 2018” under the theme “Solving Local Problems with Global Knowledge” during 9-21 July 2018 (13 Days) at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia.

This programme provides 3 subcourses. Each participant should choose one of the following:

1. Subcourse A

Exploring the Oceans: Mapping Sea Surface & Seabed Surface

2. Subcourse B

Exploring the Biodiversity of Coastal Ecosystem

3. Subcourse C

Build Your Own Boat: Designing, Building and Operating Unmanned Surface Vehicle

Not only thematic courses, the programme will incorporate Indonesian language course, traditional music and dance classes, and batik making. Tasting delicious Indonesian foods and visiting Surabaya community and main tourist destinations will definitely become inseparable parts of the programme.

Registration period

5 January – 25 May 2018

Required Documents

• Application form

        (Application form can be downloaded at international.its.ac.id/commtech-highlight-2018/)

• Scanned  a copy of passport
• One recommendation letter from University
• Scanned copy of student/staff/lecturer ID or statement letter that stating that you are a student/staff/lecturer from University

• Complete the application form and send it with all required documents to commtech@its.ac.id

          Please submit the application form within 25 May 2018

• The selected participants with/without scholarship will be notified by email maximum one month after the submission of the registration form
