MFU Student Invited as a Guest Speaker for a Topic of “the Role and Opportunities for the Students in United Nations”

     On 27 February 2022, Ms. Kuenzeng Dema, a student from the School of Social Innovation and the Club President of Mae Fah Luang University Model United Nations (MFU MUN) was invited to be a speaker for the virtual international webinar under a topic of “the Role and Opportunities for the Students in United Nations”.

     This webinar organized by Sir Syed Foundation, Aligarh (India) brought together the Co-Chair, Young Professional Group Committee of United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA), Ms. Madeline Stanton; a Member of Communication in Young Professional Group Committee of United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA), Mr. Naved Alam; and Ms. Kuenzeng Dema to interact with Bachelor’s Degree students from the Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University.

     During the discussion, Ms. Madeline Stanton explained the opportunities waiting for every single individual who desires to be a part of something big. She also explained how the UNA works and how one gets constructive growth in his/her personality through these things. 

     Moreover, Ms. Kuenzeng Dema narrated her journey of becoming the club president and the challenges she has faced when following her passion. She also shared her story about how it all started with a handful of people and then further transformed to such a big hub of opportunities. Altogether, both speakers assured to help the students in every way possible.
