The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Indonesia is calling for participants to join the Summer Programme “Summer Exploration of Indonesia” which will be held virtually from 3-14 July 2023 every 15.00-17.30 hrs. and 19.00-21.00 hrs. (GMT+7 Indonesia Time)
CommTECH Nusantara is a short program aimed to introduce various Indonesian cultures to participants from all over the world. This program focuses more on art and culture-related activities such as traditional music and dance, making Batik, exploring Surabaya Kampongs, language, foods, and many more. Delivering the special theme of Summer Exploration of Indonesia this year, participants will explore the rich values and culture of various ethnicities in Indonesia and will get summer vibes from all over regions.
During the program, participants will be given a project competition to creating a video or poster on the theme of Indonesian values and culture has been introduced in the CommTECH Nusantara 2023 program. Participants may be as creative as desired in creating the project. At the end of the program, participants will present their creations in a Virtual Project Exhibition. The projects will also be posted through CommTECH’s Instagram account as well as the Facebook account of ITS Global Engagement. The Best Project will be chosen based on the highest number of likes on the post. The team with the best project will receive some special prizes from ITS.
Who Can Apply for this Programme?
MFU Students: Non-Indonesian active bachelor's, master's & doctoral students from any background are eligible for this programme.
Benefits
1. Five selected students from MFU will join the programme for free.
2. All the participants can get a certificate of participation after completion of the programme. The winner of the project award also will get an additional certificate and gift from ITS.

(4) Thursday, 6 July 2023: Sumatra Edition
(5) Friday, 7 July 2023 – Bali Edition
(6) Saturday, 8 July 2023 – Batik Class & Student Talent Presentation
