CALL FOR APPLICATION: UiTM Summer Programme “Malaysian Heritage and Culture” in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia

MFU is calling for applications to participate in the Summer Programme “Malaysian Heritage and Culture” from 12 - 26 August 2023 at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia.

This programme promises to be a fantastic opportunity for personal growth, academic enrichment, and memorable experiences. The 15-day programme is based at UiTM Shah Alam in Selangor, Malaysia. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in exciting excursions to Kuala Lumpur city, Melake, Putrajaya, and Kepala Batas, Penang.

Qualifications

Be MFU students at undergraduate in any field of study (have studied at least two semesters in university)
Be interested in learning the Malaysian culture
Have a good command of English
Be in a good physical condition
Receive permission from his/her parents to participate in this programme
Be responsible for all expenses that occurred during the study

Expenses

STUDENT will pay for the expenses during joining the programme as below:

600 USD for Programme Fee (estimate in Thai baht = 20,800)

**The price is included all learning materials, indoor activities & tours, meals during the programme (excluding nights and weekends) accommodation, and transportation

Transportation and some meals during the weekend which are not covered
Health insurance in Malaysia
Round trip airfare (MFU will support a qualified student for a travel cost of 10,000 THB.)

12 – 21 July 2023	UiTM’s Final Result Notice Student has completed a fee payment
21 – 26 July 2023	MFU will support a qualified student for a travel cost of 10,000 THB. Requirements are as followed: 1. GPAX ≥ 2.75 2. English Language Requirements: - TOEIC ≥ 600 (Score is valid for 2 years.) or - IELTS ≥ 6.0 or - TOEFL (Paper-based) ≥ 213 or - TOEFL( Internet-based) ≥ 79-80) or - MFU-TEP ≥ 6.0 3. Accepted from UiTM, Malaysia Remark: To receive a travel cost (10,000 THB) supported by MFU, please submit all documents required to global@remove-thismfu.ac.th by 26 July 2023 List of required documents: 1. Student Exchange Programme Application Form (Outbound) (can be downloaded at https://global.mfu.ac.th/global-download/global-5212.html ) 2. A copy of the passport 3. Certificate of Enrollment (Certificate of student status) 4. Official Transcript 5. English Proficiency Certificate (TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, or MFU-TEP) 6. A copy of the Bank Book 7. 27 July – 7 August 2023	MFU processes the traveling approval from the President and traveling costs
12 – 26 August 2023	Join the Summer Programme in Malaysia Students receive traveling costs from MFU
