Call for MFU Buddy for New Incoming International Students 1/2023

MFU Buddy programme is now calling for a new member to support incoming international students for 1/2023. The detail is listed below:

What does it mean to be a buddy for new International students? 
"International students refer to non-Thai students from all around the world who are currently enrolled in different programmes at MFU. Every student is unique, and has their own needs and expectations. As a buddy, it is important to be open-minded, flexible, and responsive to these needs"

What does a buddy do?

  • Tell your friends more inside information about School, the learning system and student services
  • Help them to process any kinds of documentation
  • Show them around campus and Chiang Rai
  • Help them adjust to Thai people’s lifestyle and local culture
  • Answer questions and give advices about living in Chiang Rai
  • Encourage them to join several student activities on campus or around Chiang Rai

Qualifications
1. Be a MFU student at undergraduate or graduate levels in any field of study 
2. Be interested in building lifelong relations with international students
3. Be interested in joining cross-cultural activities and learning new languages 
4. Be able to communicate in English
5. Be an open-minded, friendly, and responsible person
