On 28 August 2023, the delegation of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok led by Ms. Alma Green, Public Engagement and Education Coordinator visited Mae Fah Luang University to meet with MFU executives led by Asst. Prof. Dr.Machima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University at Vanchai Sirichana Building (AD1).
Both institutions discussed the plan for cooperative activities between Mae Fah Luang University and the U.S. Embassy during November 2023 - April 2024.
After the meeting, Ms. Alma Green gave a special talk on “scholarships and opportunities to study in USA” for over 60 MFU students and staff members at E4 building. During the talk, Ms. Green explained the US education system as well as steps to study in the U.S. and financial aid opportunities.
Altogether, the visit and special talk have not only provided a valuable opportunity for MFU students and staff to deepen their understanding of the United States of America and study opportunities; but also strengthened the strong academic collaboration between the U.S. Embassy and MFU.
