On 27 August 2023, Mr. Kenshin Mizushima, the fourth-year student from the Sports and Health Science programme, the School of Health Science and a member of MFU Triathlon Club won the first place in Asia, the 23rd place in men’s 18-24 ages category and was ranked 141st among 3,322 contestants in IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2023 in Finland. Mr. Kenshin Mizushima showed the outstanding performance by finishing all three challenges in four hours, 8 minutes and 47 seconds (1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run).
