Call for Participations: International Symposium on “Advancing the Global Health Agenda: Transformation of Higher Education towards Regional Well-being”.

Mae Fah Luang University led by the Global Relations Division will organise the International Symposium on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Mae Fah Luang University under a theme of “Advancing the Global Health Agenda: Transformation of Higher Education towards Regional Well-being”.

Time: 13.30 – 16.00 hrs. 
Venue: Pradoo Daeng 1, E4 Building, Mae Fah Luang University

 

The primary objective of the symposium is to serve as a platform for higher education institution leaders, diplomats, leaders in health and public health development, and policy makers to implement sustainable development, to exchange perspectives, and to clarify the scenarios of transforming educational institutions to cope with global disruptions. The symposium will emphasize the roles of education in promoting sustainable regional well-being in order to establish a joint vision and propose a policy for international collaboration in promoting good health and well-being.

The international symposium consists of two main events: 

1. Keynote speech on “Possibility of Accessible and Affordable Healthcare for Sustainable Regional Development” 
by Prof. Dr. Krisana Kraisintu, Pharmaceutical chemist and President of Krisana Kraisintu Foundation, 2009 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee and 2023 Medical Scientist Awardee

 

2. Plenary Session: “The Roles of Higher Education in Regional Health and Well-being”
