MFU is calling for applications for participating in the UMAP Programme A&B (Fall 2024) for 1 semester from September – December 2024.

Course details as below:

Qualifications

1. GPAX is 2.50 or above
2. MFU student (Undergraduate/Graduate, in any fields)
3. Be second, third or fourth year undergraduate student  (Completed at least two semesters of studies at the undergraduate level)
4. Be graduate student who have completed at least one year of study at MFU
5. Good command in English
6. Be responsible for other expenses that occurred during the study
7. In good physical condition
8. Open-minded, high motivated to learn new things, and adaptable in all situations
9. Application must receive permission from his/her parents to participate in the student exchange programme

Note: International students studying for Mae Fah Luang University degree can apply to go as exchange students.  International students are not permitted to attend a host institution in their home country. The selection criteria listed above also apply to international students.

Required Documents to be Submitted with Application Form                                                                                                      

1. MFU Student Exchange Application Form Download form: global.mfu.ac.th/global-download/global-5212.html > Student Exchange Programme Application Form (Outbound)
2. Select your top 2 preferred institutions by registration at https://usco2.umap.org/Account/Register/ (use g-mail to register) and attach the scan file with the list as below;

• A copy of the passport
• Certificate of Enrollment (Certificate of student status)
• Official Transcript
• English Proficiency Certificate (Optional)

Scholarship Availability

1. Tuition Fee at Host University (waived)
2. Travel Expenses/MFU will support students who have qualified for traveling costs as follows:
    - ASEAN + 3 countries = 10,000 THB
    - Others countries = 20,000 THB
If you get the requirements as follows:
 2.1 GPAX ≥ 2.75 
 2.2 English Language Requirements;
    - TOEIC ≥ 600
    -  TOEFL (• Paper-based ≥ 550 or • Computer-based ≥213 or •Internet-based ≥79-80)
    -  IELTS ≥ 6.0 
    - MFU-TEP ≥ 60 
 2.3. Accepted from Host University
3. Full Scholarship from outsourcing (depends on duration) such as Jasso, seed scholarship.
