On 25 – 26 May 2024, the French-Upper Mekong Sub-region Academic Cooperation Centre, MFU in cooperation with the French Embassy in Bangkok and Alliance Française Chiang Rai, arranged the French Language Camp 2024 at Kham Mok Luang Room, M-square Building.
Ms. Flavie Lepoutre, Acting Director of the French-Upper Mekong Sub-region Academic Cooperation Centre stated in the opening ceremony that this camp was held under the theme of the Olympics 2024, in line with the upcoming Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. The camp welcomed 56 participants from eight schools in Northern Thailand: Chak Kham Khanathon School, Chiang Kham Witthayakhom School, Damrongratsongkroh School, Mae Chan Wittayakhom School, Phayao Phitthayakhom School, Piriyalai School Phrae, Samakkhi Witthayakhom School, and Yupparaj Wittayalai School.
Participants engaged in various activities to learn French language under the guidance of special speakers from Alliance Française Chiang Rai and Miss Songsavan Tungsuksirijit, lecturer of the School of Liberal Arts.
