On 10 January 2025, the Global Relations Division (GRD) hosted the New International Student Orientation 2/2024 at M4U, M-square Building. The orientation aimed to assist new students at all levels in smoothly adapting to their new learning and living environment.
In this second semester of academic year 2024, MFU welcomed over 70 new full-time and exchange students from 17 different countries.
The orientation served as the first step into a comprehensive ecosystem of academic support, resources, and guidance. New international students received valuable information on MFU’s teaching system and services, including registration system; immigration rules and regulations; student activities and facilities; health insurance; library services; exchange programme; scholarships; and study tips. These topics were covered through the presentations by relevant divisions and experienced senior students. In addition, interactive activities were included to facilitate social interaction among new students and foster connections with seniors and lecturers.
