On 20 January 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr.Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, and Prof. Dr.Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President, along with representatives from the School of Law, School of Liberal Arts, School of Management, School of Nursing, School of Science, School of Sinology, and School of Social Innovation, welcomed the delegation from Zhangjiajie College, China, led by Mr. Jian Debin, President, at Doi Tung meeting room, Vanchai Sirichana Building (AD1).
The visit of the Zhangjiajie College delegation provided an opportunity for the two institutions to explore comprehensive areas of collaboration, particularly sending students from Zhangjiajie College to pursue further studies in graduate programmes at MFU.
The two institutions also highlighted cooperation in organising Thai language training for students and staff members, promoting faculty and student exchange programmes, conducting joint research, and establishing a tourism and cultural association to promote tourism and cultural exchange between Thailand and China.
This visit served as a valuable and potential starting point for educational and cultural collaboration, enhancing a strong and sustainable partnership between Mae Fah Luang University and Zhangjiajie College. It will pave the way for future initiatives to develop education and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
