Johannes Kepler University Linz, long term partner of ASEA-UNINET, SCCH, and @WAS are organising the 36th International Conference on Database and Expert Systems Applications (DEXA 2025).
DEXA 2025 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 25 - 27 August 2025.
DEXA and its associated conferences and workshops are internationally renowned events, serving as a hub for scientists, developers, and practitioners. Each year, they come together to exchange ideas, present groundbreaking research, and share practical development experiences. The events cover a wide range of advanced topics, including: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics & Knowledge Discovery, E-Government & Cyber-Physical Systems and Advanced Information Technologies.
This year we are planning to organize an academic forum titled "Pathways: Young Researchers Meet the Experts", an event dedicated to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and mentorship between emerging scholars and established academic professionals.
"Pathways" is designed as a platform where undergraduate and postgraduate students can present their research, receive constructive feedback from experienced academics, and engage in meaningful discussions that encourage innovation, critical thinking, and professional development.
The objectives of the Forum are to provide young researchers with an opportunity to showcase their work in a scholarly environment, create mentorship bridges between students and academic experts, encourage interdisciplinary conversations and networking across institutions and to enhance research visibility and foster collaborative projects.
The forum will consist of:
- Research presentation sessions (oral and poster formats)
- Expert panels and feedback forums
- Networking opportunities with academics and fellow students
- Special sessions on research methodology, publishing, and academic career paths
