On 29–30 June 2025, the Global Relations Division, in collaboration with the MFU Human Rights Student Club, organised “MFU Pride for All 2025” at M for U Centre, M-Square building. The event was also accessible through an online platform, broadening its reach. This significant event, supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Bangkok Pride, aimed to celebrate Pride Month, a powerful reminder of the importance of acceptance, diversity, and love. The event also sought to promote awareness of human rights, gender diversity, equity, and inclusion by providing a space for the MFU community to exchange ideas and voice their perspectives through a series of engaging talks, workshops, performances, and a film screening of “The Danish Girl”.
A key highlight was the panel talk, “Growing in University, Growing as You”, which brought together representatives from various university units including Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, Global Relations Division, Disability Support Services, the Student Union, and the International Student Club. The discussion centered on the university’s current support and activities, as well as future initiatives designed to co-create a safe and inclusive campus where everyone can be respected and free to be themselves.
Additionally, a Forum titled “Just a Name? Or Dignity of Being Human?” invited representatives from diverse sectors, including lecturers from the School of Law, the Student Union, M-Plus Chiang Rai, and a prominent influencer. This forum delved into the importance of "title of name" in legal issues for LGBTQ+ community such as healthcare rights.
In the “DE&I: A Sustainable Heart for embracing diversity” workshop, moderated by Nada Chaiyajit, a lecturer from the School of Law, participants gained valuable understanding, knowledge and practical approaches to promote equality at both individual and organisational levels.
Overall, "MFU Pride for All 2025" served as an exceptional platform for students, lecturers, and staff members to deepen their awareness of human rights, gender diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a university environment where everyone truly belongs.
