Assoc. Prof. Dr.Siraprapa Mahanil was honoured for her research project ‘Endophytic Fungi-Based Biofertilizer for Enhancing Nutrient Uptake and Stimulating Plant Growth,’ which was awarded the Silver Medal at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (9 – 13 April 2025) in Geneva, Switzerland. This research advances knowledge in microbiology to develop an eco-friendly biofertilizer that enhances plant nutrient absorption, promotes growth, and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers, thereby contributing to sustainable agriculture. The achievement not only highlights the capacity of Thai researchers to create scientific innovations that address environmental challenges but also inspires future scholars to pursue international excellence.
This achievement reaffirms Mae Fah Luang University’s commitment to promoting high-quality international research that supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
• SDG 2: Zero Hunger – Promoting sustainable agriculture
• SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – Advancing technology and innovation
