On 29 November 2025, Mae Fah Luang University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President, together with university executives and student volunteers, helped sort and pack donated items at the Pathomakarnusorn Building (MFU Memorial Hall 1999). These items included dried food, rice, essential household goods, and daily necessities. The relief packages also included Lemongrass Mosquito Spray produced the MFU Medicinal Plant Innovation Center.
All donated items were handed over to Royal Thai Air Force Wing 416 Chiang Rai, to be transported on a cargo flight scheduled for 1 December 2025, under the “Chiang Rai’s Support for Hat Yai” initiative. The initiative aims to provide assistance to communities affected by recent severe flooding in the southern provinces.
MFU had opened a donation point accepting essential supplies from 27-29 November 2025. This humanitarian activity is part of a collaborative effort among MFU, Royal Thai Air Force Wing Division 416 Chiang Rai, and Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai International Airport.
MFU extends its heartfelt appreciation to students, staff, and the local community for their continued generosity and contributions since the first day of the donation drive.
