On 9 January 2026, the Global Relations Division, in collaboration with the International Student Club, organised the MFU Campus Tour for New International Students & Meet and Greet with Buddies activity. This proramme was one of the orientation activities for new students, aiming to provide international students with an opportunity to meet their buddies while exploring key campus facilities and important locations around the university.
During the tour, students visited the university’s healthcare facilities, including the MFU Wellness Centre, Dental Clinic, Medical Centre Hospital, and MFU Hospital. They also experienced MFU’s multicultural environment through visits to the Lan Thong Chaloem Phra Kiat Vihara and Mekong Basin Civilization Museum.
A highlight of the programme was the visit to the Sirindhorn Chinese Language and Culture Center, where students participated in the Chinese Cultural Workshops, including Chinese Health Qigong and Guzheng performance, conducted by lecturers from the School of Sinology and the MFU Confucius Institute. In addition, the students toured the Library, Memorial Hall, the Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Statue, and the MFU Dam.
Overall, the campus tour not only enabled international and Thai students from different to meet and build positive relationships, but also helped them become familiar with university facilities, supporting a smoother transition and adaptation to university life at Mae Fah Luang University.
