On 17 February 2026, Mae Fah Luang University welcomed the Country Director of Child’s Dream Foundation Thailand and delegation members to discuss collaborative pathways for widening access to higher education among youth living in Thailand’s border regions.
The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President of MFU.Particpants included Associate Professor Dr. Natthakan Rungraeng, Assistant to the President; the Deans of the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Integrative Medicine; faculty representatives from the School of Health Sciences; and senior staff from the Registrar Division, the Student Development Affairs Division, and the Global Relations Division.
Discussions centered on practical mechanisms to widen access to higher education for students from border learning centers. The dialogue examined admission approaches suited to diverse educational backgrounds, as well as academic and student support systems designed to help learners succeed throughout their university journey.
