Call for Applications: PSU–AUN Summer Camp 2026 at Prince of Songkla University
Categories: Top StoriesThe Global Relations Division (GRD), Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), is pleased to invite MFU students to apply for the PSU–AUN Summer Camp 2026, hosted by Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand.
Held under the theme “Taste of Southern Thailand — Connecting Cultures through Gastronomy,” the program aims to bring together students from universities within the ASEAN University Network (AUN) to explore Southern Thai culture, gastronomy, and intercultural learning through academic and experiential activities.
The summer camp offers an integrated learning experience combining online coursework and onsite cultural immersion. Participants will gain academic credit while developing intercultural communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills through cross-cultural engagement and community-based learning.
Program Details
- Host University: Prince of Songkla University, Thailand
- Credit: 3((2)-2-5)
- Available Seats for MFU: 2 students
- Online Learning: 1 – 30 April 2026
- Onsite Program: 5 May (Arrival) – 18 May 2026 (Departure)
- Course Module: 071-N04 Thailand Unveiled: Language, Culture, Life, Business and Sustainability Insights
The program also highlights the unique gastronomy of Southern Thailand and its connection to local identity and multicultural heritage, building on Songkhla’s recognition as a UNESCO Creative Cities Network Creative City of Gastronomy.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- MFU undergraduate students in their second year or higher
- Citizen of an ASEAN country
- Proficient in English (program conducted in English)
- Able to fully participate in both online and onsite components
- Meet additional requirements set by the sending university
Financial Support
Prince of Songkla University will provide the following support:
- Accommodation (off campus)
- Most meals
- Local transportation and airport transfers
- Educational activities and excursions
- Tuition fee: USD 100
Participants are required to cover:
- Round-trip airfare to Hat Yai International Airport (HDY)
- Travel and health insurance
- Personal expenses and meals outside the program
