Mitacs, in collaboration with the Government of Canada, has announced the Accelerate Global Excellence Call, a strategic initiative designed to attract top-tier global talent to Canada’s premier research and innovation ecosystems.
Program Overview
The Accelerate Global Excellence program serves as an enhancement to the established Mitacs Accelerate framework. It focuses on fostering high-impact collaborations between academia and industry to address global challenges while equipping participants with advanced leadership skills for industrial research and development (R&D).
Funding and Duration
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive two-year award valued at $170,000 ($85,000 per annum). The funding structure is allocated as follows:
