On 25 March 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthakan Rungraeng, Assistant to the President of Mae Fah Luang University, and Ms. Wannapha Thippayasak, Head of the Global Relations Division, warmly welcomed a delegation from Pridi Banomyong International College, Thammasat University. The visiting group, led by Dr. Ken Withoonchart, Acting for Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kampol Piyasirikul, Head of the Chinese Studies Programme, included staff and students participating in a study visit focused on international student activities and support services.
The primary objective of this study visit was to learn and exchange best practices regarding the student activities management and international student support. It also sought to strengthen collaborative networks to elevate service quality and cultivate enriching experiences for the international student community.
During the session, Ms. Zin Me Me Kyaw, a second-year student from the School of Health Science and President of the International Student Club (ISC) at MFU, along with the club's executive team, presented their administrative structure. They provided an overview of their operational strategies aimed at supporting the well-being of international students. Furthermore, the team detailed their collaborative efforts with the Global Relations Division and their support for various university divisions under the "Internationalisation at Home" framework. They also highlighted their Student-Led Projects, which are designed to foster a vibrant international environment and enhance students' quality of life. These impactful initiatives are carried out in close coordination with the Student Union, the Student Council, and other student clubs.
In addition, student leaders from MFU’s Student Union, Student Council, and the ISC engaged in a dynamic experience-sharing session with the student committee from Thammasat University. This valuable interaction marked a significant milestone in establishing a robust collaborative network among student leaders, further empowering them to jointly drive and elevate future international activities.
