Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development Division, in collaboration with the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Integrative Medicine, successfully completed a programme-level quality assessment under the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) standards. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of selected academic programmes and promote continuous curriculum development in line with international standards.
The AUN-QA assessment was conducted from 24 to 26 March 2026, covering two programmes: the Bachelor of Arts in English (School of Liberal Arts) and the Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (School of Integrative Medicine).
On the final day of the assessment, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Darunee Wattanasiriwech, Vice President of MFU, presided over the closing ceremony. She expressed her sincere appreciation to the distinguished assessors, including Prof. Dr. Arnel Onesimo O. Uy (Chief Assessor, the Philippines), Prof. Dr. Yahaya Md. Sam (Lead Assessor, Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malina Jasamai (Assessor, Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosula Reyes (Assessor, the Philippines), and Mr. Pichayuth Punchanuwat (Secretary to the AUN-QA Assessment Committee).
The Vice President emphasised that the valuable feedback and recommendations provided by the assessors will play a vital role in further enhancing the academic quality of MFU’s programmes and supporting the university’s ongoing commitment to international standards.
