Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) proudly congratulates Ms. Sawanya Seema, Administrative Officer for the Disability Support Services (DSS) under the Student Development Affairs Division, on receiving a royal trophy after winning the 30th Braille Reading and Writing Competition (Chinese Braille Reading, Individual Category, Higher Education and General Public Level). The award was graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Sra Pathum Palace on 26 March 2026.
The competition was organised by the Thai National Braille Promotion and Development Fund, in collaboration with the Thailand Association of the Blind and its network organisations, on 23 January 2026 at the Ratchasuda Institute, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. It drew participants from educational institutions and the general public nationwide.
As an alumna of MFU’s Business Chinese programme and the university’s first visually impaired employee, Ms. Sawanya serves as a true inspiration to students and staff. Her achievement reflects both her exceptional ability and MFU’s commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunity.
