MFU shared its internationalisation goal of producing global citizens for well-being and sustainable future. The university aims to nurture graduates who understand global dynamics with regional sensitivity, demonstrate commitment to society and inclusive development, and advocate for sustainability and ecological balance. Leveraging its key strengths in internationalisation, its strategic location, and specialised fields of research and innovation, MFU seeks to co-develop high-impact short-term programmes, co-create solutions with real impacts for regional communities, and assess global citizen competencies.
Altogether, this workshop provided a valuable opportunity for MFU to share its international missions and exchange best practices with peers. Following the workshops, projects proposals under the IRO Community were initiated to be presented to the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT). This engagement fosters sustainable, robust, and strategic cooperation networks among executives and international relations officers across Thai higher education institutions.
