Programme Schedule
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- MFU undergraduate students in their second year or above
- Citizens of an ASEAN country
- Proficient in English, as the programme will be conducted in English
- Committed to full participation in both online and onsite programme components
Programme Objectives
- To promote student mobility among AUN and ASEAN+3 UNet member universities through a structured short-term international programme
- To enhance students’ academic knowledge, critical thinking, and global awareness of sustainable ocean development
- To foster intercultural understanding and collaboration through experiential learning and cross-cultural engagement
- To strengthen regional cooperation and institutional partnerships within the AUN and ASEAN+3 UNet frameworks
- To contribute to sustainable development goals through education, environmental awareness, and global citizenship

Financial Support
Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia will provide:
- Programme fee: Waived for MFU students
Covered:
- Airport transfers at designated time slots
- Ground transportation
- Accommodation (1–12 September 2026)
• Check-in: 1 September, 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 12 September, 12:00 PM
- Meals (breakfast and lunch on selected days)
Participants are responsible for:
- Round-trip airfare (to and from Malaysia)
- Travel, health, and medical insurance (covering the entire duration of stay)
- Personal expenses
- Meals outside the programme
- Visa fees
Travel Grant Opportunity
MFU students may apply for the MFU Travel Grant (THB 20,000).
