MFU Triumphs at Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2026

Endorsed by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies, this prestigious national culinary competition took place from 26 – 30 May 2026 at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia, Impact Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.
Under the theme “Defining Asian Cuisine Globally,” TUCC 2026 aimed to showcase the depth, diversity, and creativity of Asian cuisine, while strengthening Asia’s culinary voice and position it with greater clarity and confidence on the global stage.
The success of the MFU team demonstrated incredible creativity, culinary precision, and global hospitality standards, securing the following awards:
• Silver Medal (Classic Thai Cuisine, Professional Chef): Chef Nidnaree Koprae
• Bronze Medal (Asian Cuisine Culinary Challenge, Junior Chef): Ms. Su Sandi
• Bronze Medal (Main Course Beef Challenge, Junior Chef): Ms. May Zu Maung
• Diploma (Pasta Challenge, Junior Chef): Ms. Kanokporn Angkason
• Diploma (Asian Modern Freshwater Fish and Prawn Culinary Challenge, Junior Chef): Mr. Kirati Sittimon
• Diploma (Asian Cuisine Culinary Challenge, Junior Chef): Ms. Nang Ei Mon
• Diploma (Asian Cuisine Culinary Challenge, Junior Chef): Ms. Lahpai Ja Dai Seng Awn
This spectacular victory was made possible through the intensive guidance and support of MFU’s dedicated advisory and training team: Mr. Ekawee Vinitkhatkumnuen, Asst. Prof. Piyanart Junkrachang, Chef Pasakorn Phukhwanphong (Trainer), and Chef Rakkit Siripanrat (Support Team).
The competition not only inspired students to challenge their abilities and showcase the dedication that define the culinary profession, but also offered invaluable experience on an international stage. This milestone reflects MFU's commitment to "Experiential Learning," empowering the next generation of hospitality professionals to thrive in the global arena.
