Mae Fah Luang University is pleased to invite undergraduate and graduate students to apply for the 2026 FILKOM UB Academic and Cultural Exchange on Information Technology (FACE IT 2026), hosted by Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia.
 
FACE IT 2026 is an exciting two-month international academic programme that combines online learning with a one-week on-campus experience in Malang, Indonesia. Participants will gain practical knowledge through lectures, workshops, collaborative projects, and cultural activities while earning 10 ECTS credits.

• AI in Healthcare: Biomedical Signal Processing and Wearable Intelligence
• Deep Learning and AI for Medical Images

Program Schedule

• Online Phase 1: 10 August – 5 September 2026
• On-Campus in Malang, Indonesia: 6 – 12 September 2026
• Online Phase 2: 13 September – 20 November 2026

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants for the Mae Fah Luang University Student Exchange Program must meet the following requirements:

1. Student Status
Be a currently enrolled undergraduate, master's, or doctoral student at Mae Fah Luang University.

• Applicants of all years of study and all nationalities are welcome to apply.
• Applicants must maintain their MFU student status throughout the entire exchange period.

2. Academic Performance (GPAX)
- There is no minimum GPAX requirement for applying to the exchange programme.
However, students who are accepted into the programme and wish to apply for the MFU Travel Grant must meet the University's minimum GPAX requirements. More details, CLICK

3. English Language Proficiency
-There is no minimum English language requirement for programme application.
However, students applying for the MFU Travel Grant must satisfy the University's English language proficiency requirements. More details, CLICK

4. Health and Conduct
Be in good physical and mental health and be fit to participate in an overseas exchange programme.
Demonstrate good conduct and comply with the regulations of both Mae Fah Luang University and the host institution.

5. Financial Responsibility
- Applicants must be financially capable of covering expenses not provided by the host institution, including but not limited to:

• International airfare
• Accommodation (if not covered by the programme)
• Travel and health insurance
• Living expenses
• Personal expenses and any additional costs incurred during the programme

Note: Students who are accepted into the programme may apply for the MFU Travel Grant (subject to the University's eligibility criteria) to support part of their international travel expenses. More details, CLICK

Scholarship Benefits
Participation is FREE for international students.
 
Selected participants will receive:

• Accommodation
• Local transportation
• Two meals per day
• Course materials
• Cultural and educational activities
• 10 ECTS academic credits

Please note: International airfare, travel insurance, optional Mount Bromo excursion, and personal expenses are not included.
 
Additional Financial Support | MFU Travel Grant Support
 
Selected participants may apply for an MFU Travel Grant of up to THB 20,000 to support international travel expenses, subject to the University's eligibility criteria.
 
Eligibility: Applicants must:
·       Be a currently enrolled undergraduate (GPAX ≥ 2.75), master's, or doctoral (GPAX ≥ 3.25) student at Mae Fah Luang University.
·       Receive an official acceptance letter from the host institution.
·       Meet one of the following English language proficiency requirements (Click here for more details):

• TOEIC: 600 or above, or
• TOEFL:
   /Paper-based Test (PBT): 550 or above, or
  /Computer-based Test (CBT): 213 or above, or
  /Internet-based Test (iBT): 79–80 or above, or

o   IELTS: 6.0 or above, or
o   MFU-TEP: 60 or above (Click here to view the MFU-TEP test schedule.)
·       Comply with the University's Travel Grant regulations and submit all required supporting documents.

1. สถานภาพนักศึกษา
-เป็นนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ทุกระดับการศึกษา (ปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก) ทุกชั้นปี และทุกสัญชาติ
ต้องคงสถานภาพนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงตลอดระยะเวลาที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ
2. ผลการเรียน (GPAX)
-ไม่กำหนดเกณฑ์ขั้นต่ำในการสมัคร
*อย่างไรก็ตาม นักศึกษาที่ได้รับการตอบรับเข้าร่วมโครงการและประสงค์จะขอรับ ทุนสนับสนุนค่าเดินทางจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จะต้องมีผลการเรียนสะสม (GPAX) เป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด

4. สุขภาพและความประพฤติ
-มีสุขภาพร่างกายและสุขภาพจิตแข็งแรง พร้อมสำหรับการเดินทางและใช้ชีวิตในต่างประเทศ
-มีความประพฤติดีและสามารถปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบของมหาวิทยาลัยและมหาวิทยาลัยเจ้าภาพ
5. ความพร้อมด้านการเงิน
-สามารถรับผิดชอบค่าใช้จ่ายที่อาจเกิดขึ้นด้วยตนเอง เช่น

• ค่าเดินทางระหว่างประเทศ
• ค่าที่พัก (กรณีที่โครงการไม่ได้สนับสนุน)
• ค่าประกันการเดินทางและประกันสุขภาพ
• ค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำรงชีพ
• ค่าใช้จ่ายส่วนตัวและค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ ที่อาจเกิดขึ้นระหว่างการเข้าร่วมโครงการ

ไม่มีค่าลงทะเบียน (สำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ)
ผู้ได้รับคัดเลือกจะได้รับ

· การเดินทางภายในเมือง

หมายเหตุ
นักศึกษาเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบค่าเดินทางไป-กลับ ระหว่างประเทศไทย–อินโดนีเซีย ค่าประกันการเดินทาง และค่าใช้จ่ายส่วนตัว

สิทธิประโยชน์เพิ่มเติม
ทุนสนับสนุนค่าเดินทางในต่างประเทศจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

นักศึกษาที่ได้รับคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมโครงการ สามารถขอรับเงินสนับสนุนค่าเดินทางจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จำนวน 20,000 บาท โดยต้องมีคุณสมบัติเป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ของมหาวิทยาลัย ดังนี้
 

• คุณสมบัติผู้มีสิทธิ์ขอรับการสนับสนุน
• มีสถานะเป็นนักศึกษาระดับ ปริญญาตรี (GPAX ≥ 2.75) ปริญญาโท หรือปริญญาเอก (GPAX ≥ 3.25) ของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
• ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างเป็นทางการจากมหาวิทยาลัยเจ้าภาพ
