Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Office of the Postgraduate Studies, held an orientation for new graduate students for the Academic Year 2026 on 1 August 2026.

Designed to prepare incoming students for their upcoming studies and campus life, the event was divided into two sessions: an onsite Thai-language session in the Kham Mok Luang Room, M-Square Building, and an online English-language session broadcast from  the Doi Ngaem Room, Vanchai Sirichana Building.

Both sessions were presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Darunee Wattanasiriwech, Vice President of MFU, who extended a warm welcome to all new postgraduate students.

The morning on-site session featured an introduction to graduate studies and student support services, an awards presentation recognising outstanding theses and independent studies, and a GRAD TALK panel under the theme "Graduate Life... Beyond the Classroom," complete with a Q&A session. The panel sparked active engagement as new students gained valuable firsthand insights from senior students and university representatives.

In the afternoon, the English-language online session was conducted for international students and those enrolled in international programmes. Students received essential information regarding graduate studies and student support services from representatives from the Office of the Postgraduate Studies and the Global Relations Division.

MFU continues to prioritise the preparation of new graduate students each academic year, both academically and in adjusting to campus life, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into their postgraduate journey.
