Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2026 – Wonderful Indonesia Cuisines

"Enjoy Indonesia, One Bite at a Time!"

Programme Duration: 16 – 27 November 2026 Host University: Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2026 – Wonderful Indonesia Cuisines, a short virtual programme hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia.

This programme invites participants from around the world to explore the richness of Indonesian culture through its cuisine, traditions, and stories. Across two weeks, participants will journey virtually through the diverse regions of Indonesia — discovering local dishes, language, and customs — before working in teams to present their own creative project in a Virtual Project Exhibition.

Week 1 (16 – 20 November 2026)

1. Mon 16 Nov – Opening Ceremony & Virtual Campus Tour
2. Tue 17 Nov – Fun Bahasa Indonesia & Virtual Surabaya City Tour
3. Wed 18 Nov – Java Exploration
4. Thu 19 Nov – Sumatera Exploration & Nusa Tenggara Exploration
5. Fri 20 Nov – Kalimantan Exploration & Special Indonesia Viral Foodies

Week 2 (23 – 27 November 2026)

1. Mon 23 Nov – Sulawesi & Bali Exploration
2. Tue 24 Nov – Maluku & Papua Exploration & Project Announcement
3. Wed 25 Nov – Project Work
4. Thu 26 Nov – Virtual Presentation / Project Exhibition
5. Fri 27 Nov – Closing Ceremony

Participants who successfully complete the programme, including the Final Project and Presentation, will receive an official certificate issued by ITS.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

• Be an MFU undergraduate, master's, or doctoral student (any discipline), or MFU staff
• Have a good command of English (the programme is conducted entirely in English)
• Be able to commit to all sessions, 19.00–22.00 (Surabaya Time), 16–27 November 2026

Scholarship: MFU has up to 20 Full Scholarship quotas available, covering the programme fee (USD 50).

How to Apply

Step 1 — Complete the Application Forms

• 2026 CommTECH-Nusantara-Nov Registration Form (Download HERE)

Step 2 — Prepare the Required Documents

1. Scanned passport / national ID card
2. Scanned student / staff ID
3. Formal photo (without glasses)

Note: Applicants must possess a valid passport/ID before submitting their application.

Step 3 — Submit Your Application Email all completed forms and supporting documents to: mobility.global@mfu.ac.th
