MFU Empowers Educators with Workshop on "AI in French Language Classes"

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the French-Upper Mekong Sub-region Academic Cooperation Center and in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Thailand, hosted the teacher training workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in French Language Classes.” Held from 11–12 September 2026, at the Phuang Chompoo and Phu Rahong Rooms, M-Square Building, the event brought together high school and university educators from across the country, featuring Asst. Prof. Dr. Bruno MARCHAL from Thammasat University as the guest speaker. 

The workshop aimed to enhance the pedagogical capacity of French language educators by focusing on the practical application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). Designed to align teaching methodologies with modern educational shifts, the sessions equipped instructors to leverage AI tools for designing engaging learning activities, developing instructional materials, and boosting student participation. Furthermore, the training enabled participants to apply these digital competencies in their actual classrooms fostering both language proficiency and context-appropriate digital literacy among their students.

Attended by French instructors from institutions nationwide, the workshop not only prepared educators to integrate AI and modern technologies into their instruction but also served as a vital platform for building and strengthening ties between MFU, secondary schools, and universities across Thailand. This initiative paves the way for ongoing knowledge exchange in educational technology, drives learning innovation, and establishes a robust, sustainable academic network.
