On 24 September 2019, delegates from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) led by the Deputy Director of Graduate School, Mr. Liu Yiliang visited MFU to discuss postgraduate study and exchange programme with MFU delegates led by the Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University and Acting Dean of the School of Sinology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni.
MFU and YUFE signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in April 2019. This visit aimed at expanding cooperation in postgraduate student exchange programmes, short courses and summer programmes between two universities in the fields of Management and Sinology. Under the agreement, MFU students can enroll in pre-master's programs at YUFE while YUFE students can participate in summer programmes at MFU.
Altogether, MFU and YUFE have strong determination in working closely towards enhancing student’s learning experience as well as developing their cross-cultural competencies.
