Think Big Drive Change: Trafficking in Persons

On 22 October 2019, the U.S. Consulate General in Chiang Mai along with alumni from U.S. exchange programs including Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) and International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) held a special talk entitled “Think Big Drive Change: Trafficking in Persons” at Mae Fah Luang University.

This event brought together activists, academics, and community leaders from a diverse background to share their inspirations and works in preventing and fighting human trafficking with MFU students, staff, lecturers and the general public.

Altogether, all participants gained a deeper information into the causes and the prevention of human trafficking as well as the protection and restoration of victims in Thailand. All information inspired participants to think what they can do in order to prevent and drive change in human trafficking.
