On 25 September 2020, Mae Fah Luang University celebrated its 22nd anniversary with joy and happiness for its myriad achievements. MFUs celebration began with alms offerings to 160 monks followed by a ceremony to pay homage to the royal statue of HRH Princess Srinagarindra, a religious ceremony, a public report, a presentation of certificates and a scholarship presentation at the Princess Srinagarindra Auditorium (C4).

Since 1998, MFU has been widely recognised as one of the regions fastest growing institutions.    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayaporn Wattanasiri added that the reason for MFUs achievements over the past twenty two years is the values of the university called MFU First”. This FIRSTstands for Flexibility; Integrity; Resourcefulness; Spirit and Teamwork.

Driven by the determination and effort of everyone in MFU community, MFU will maintain its national academic leadership status and to steadily become a leading university that serves society with high-quality research, teaching, and internationalized activities in ASEAN and beyond.
