Mae Fah Luang University would like to congratulate students from the School of Health Science, School of Integrative Medicine and the School of Liberal Arts who showed the outstanding performances and won the prizes in the 27th Laguna Phuket Triathlon at Laguna Phuket Resort on 22 November 2020.
Students who won the second place in the team relay category included:
1. Mr. Napawat Chatramas, Sports and Health Science programme, School of Health Science
2. Mr. Tanakorn Chokauprasaen, Sports and Health Science programme, School of Health Science
3. Mr. Chinnakrit Soongpankhao, English programme, School of Liberal Arts
Moreover, Mr. Kenshin Mizushima, a student from Physical Therapy programme, the School of Integrative Medicine won the fifth place in the individual men category (overall) and the second place in the 18 – 24 male age group.
The MFU Triathlon team was supervised by a lecturer at the School of Health Science, Dr. Vorachet Juntiya. The team was also supported by the Singha Park Chiang Rai, VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company and MFU Alumni Association.
This international triathlon was held by Laguna Phuket Resort in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and Phuket Province. It consisted of 1.8Km swim, 50Km bike and 12Km run.
