At present, the knowledge of digital communication engineering is essential for industrial operations to develop the economy under the rapid changes in information technology such as, the Internet of Things that can be found in the various devices, the data processing to obtain information, the information cyber security systems and the information and communication systems. All of which contribute to the implementation of the modern lifestyle and economy.
As mentioned above, people who play a key role in these developments are in great demand from the business sector. Due to the lack of personnel who have special and specific knowledge and skills.
For this reason, the Bachelor of Engineering program in Digital Communication Engineering of School of Information Technology, Mae Fah Luang University have seen the needs of the business sector and the importance of this knowledge. Therefore, the curriculum has been improved by focusing on producing graduates in digital communication engineering who are real knowledgeable people. Pragmatists can actually work internationally with their specialized knowledge in use, application, design, build, maintenance and further development with knowledge of the Internet of Things, the information processing, the information and cyber security. By focusing on creating knowledge that requires a combination of many technologies together to support the provision of information services under the new age of information technology including comprising morals and professional ethics which will contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
This program trains our undergraduates to have digital engineering and computer communication knowledge and skills in terms of academic and practical skills with international standards. In addition, our students will specialize in digital engineering and computer communication designing and developing with entrepreneurship mindsets.
Moreover, our students can apply engineering skills to create engineering value under academic ethics for the industrial labor markets.
