Programme’s Philosophy

Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Program Focus on producing graduates who are knowledgeable and capable according to professional standards of traditional Chinese Medicine. Able to integrate the knowledge of traditional Chinese Medicine with modern Medicine, can work with multidisciplinary in both public and private enterprises with morality, ethics, and professional ethics effectively, and have the adaptability to global situations and social changes. 
    To accomplish that mission, the curriculum uses the Progressivism philosophy of education. It emphasizes learner-centered by providing 
education in line with changes in the world and society through Outcome-based learning to clarify the study content and create learning opportunities. It has continuously developed results measured. Provide Active learning for learners with knowledge and skills according to professional standards. Able to integrate with other fields like the School of Integrative Medicine's vision, "Excellence in integrative medicine at the international level." Furthermore, like the Philosophy of Mae Fah Luang University, "developing people; cultivating knowledge; instilling quality."

 

Programme’s Objectives

To produce graduates with the following knowledge and abilities
1. Knowledge, competence, and skills in disease diagnosis, treatment, prevention, promotion, rehabilitation, and advice on public health care using traditional Chinese Medicine according to Traditional Chinese Medicine professional standards.
2. Able to integrate knowledge and professional skills in traditional Chinese Medicine and related knowledge and can effectively communicate and work with other multidisciplinary professions in the public and private sectors, both in terms of health and related businesses. Also, have the skills to use digital technology for development.
3. Be able to practice in the profession by maintaining professional standards, morals, and ethics.
4. Have innovative concepts of traditional Chinese Medicine, treatment, rehabilitation, disease prevention, and health promotion with quality. 

 

Programme’s Highlights

The program focuses on producing graduates skilled in holistic health care, including diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, disease prevention, and rehabilitation based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices. This includes acupuncture and moxibustion, Tuina massage and body structure adjustments, as well as the use of Chinese herbal medicine. Graduates will also develop skills in processing, product development, and innovation in TCM, enabling them to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in public and private health sectors.
The program is conducted in partnership with universities in the People's Republic of China, such as Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University, and Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine. Students are required to study theoretical courses at these partner universities during the second semester of their fifth year and undertake clinical training during the first semester of their sixth year at the mentioned institutions.

2.    Educator or Academic Officer in educational institutions, departments, or organizations related to health sciences, medicine, and public health.

5.    Further Studies in specialized fields, Master's or Doctoral degrees, subject to the requirements of the respective institutions.

Tuition and Fees

•    Year 1, the tuition fee is 39,000 Baht per semester (2 semesters)
•    Year 2 semester 1 - Year 5 semester 1, the tuition fee is 78,000 Baht per semester (7 semesters)
•    Year 5 semester 2 - Year 6 semester 1, the tuition fee is 13,000 Baht per semester to Mae Fah Luang University (2 semesters) and pay a tuition fee to university in the People's Republic of China in the rate stipulated by the universities (2 semesters)
•    Year 6 semester 2, the tuition fee is 78,000 Baht per semester (1 semester)
•    722,000++ Baht per programme- Flat-rate fee: 60,000 THB.
