Our nursing graduates are competent and compassionate in their nursing practice. They are equipped with knowledge and skills in nursing, human sciences, ethics, and technology required for contemporary nursing practice. They work effectively with individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent illnesses, provide care and rehabilitation throughout health and illness continuum and across lifespan.
Founded on transformative educational philosophy, we believe that individual students are capable of learning regardless of their academic or social backgrounds. We emphasize active learning and critical thinking in real-life environment. To ensure responsiveness and relevance of our education to the changing health and social situations, we bring knowledge and experiences from research and community engagement to our teaching and learning activities. As teachers, we foster students’ learning and assist them to achieve their fullest potentials as a nurse and a person. To produce nursing graduates with the following competencies:
1. Practice compassionate nursing and midwifery care that integrates patient-centered focus, ethical practice, professional standards, laws, and relevant regulations.
2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of nursing sciences and related disciplines to individuals, families, and communities in adherence to professional standards.
3. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards oneself, the institution, and the profession while demonstrating awareness of and commitment to societal contributions.
4. Demonstrate leadership and management competencies, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset, while fostering collaboration within interdisciplinary teams and effectively engaging all stakeholders in the context of diverse societal changes.
5. Apply systematic and critical thinking to manage disaster-related health risks and problems through scientific processes and evidence-based practices.
6. Communicate effectively in Thai and English for academic and professional purposes.
7. Apply methods of mathematics, statistics, information technology, and digital health technologies proficiently and ethically in nursing practice.
8. Deliver holistic nursing and midwifery care across the lifespan and various health conditions by applying the nursing process, research findings, digital technology, and innovations, while emphasizing family involvement and cultural sensitivity within legal, ethical, and professional standards.
