To reiterate the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the MFU SON is committed to delivering nursing educational excellence through its teaching and learning, research, and community engagement founded on cultural appreciation of unique individuals and communities.

Our nursing graduates are competent and compassionate in their nursing practice. They are equipped with knowledge and skills in nursing, human sciences, ethics, and technology required for contemporary nursing practice. They work effectively with individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent illnesses, provide care and rehabilitation throughout health and illness continuum and across lifespan.

Founded on transformative educational philosophy, we believe that individual students are capable of learning regardless of their academic or social backgrounds. We emphasize active learning and critical thinking in real-life environment. To ensure responsiveness and relevance of our education to the changing health and social situations, we bring knowledge and experiences from research and community engagement to our teaching and learning activities. As teachers, we foster students’ learning and assist them to achieve their fullest potentials as a nurse and a person. The success of our program is reflected not only in students’ intellectual achievement but also their happiness, abilities to work with others effectively, and pride in nursing

  1. Have virtue and ethics in living and work. Have a positive attitude towards the nursing and midwifery profession and be a good citizen in society.
  2. Have nursing and midwifery knowledge and related sciences. To develop oneself and profession continuously.
  3. To be able to think systemically, apply evidence base, research and nursing information in nursing and midwifery practice.
  4. Have leadership in nursing and midwifery management. To provide client -service with safety, generosity, based on human rights and human dignity.
  5. To be able to evaluate, analyze, interpret data, and use it efficiently. To be able to communicate understandably.
  6. Practice nursing and midwifery in a holistic care and continuous way according to professional standards. Apply nursing procedures to individuals, groups, families and communities ensuring safety for both clients and providers covering health promotion, disease prevention, primary medical care and recovery based on individuality, cultural diversity, law and ethics. To be able to work as a team with multidisciplinary profession.

  1. Being a Registered Nurse (RN) in healthcare services, divided into primary, secondary, and tertiary care setting.
  2. Being a school nurse or an occupational health nurse.
  3. Being a healthcare entrepreneur that is not against the Nursing and Midwifery Profession Act.
