The primary aim of this program is to prepare food science and technology specialists with profound academic knowledge combined with expertise in conducting food science research and in creating food innovations, and in using their academic superiority and professional skills to create internationally recognized works.

1. Ability to use their knowledge, analytical skills and integrative minds to conduct in-depth academic research in food science and technology and to become internationally recognized academic leaders;

2. Ability to develop new bodies of knowledge or create food science and technology innovations that lead to successful and sustainable strengthening of Thailand’s food industry;

3. Enthusiasm to conduct research and exchange, disseminate and transfer research-grounded knowledge and technology to society; and

4. Ability to work with others, with an awareness of their roles and duties, and by adhering to integrity and academic and professional ethics.

PLO1: Highly understand of principles, theories, and research methodology of food science and technology.

PLO2: Ability to conduct in-depth research using research methodology to apply the research findings for food industry or to develop the new knowledge and manage a project.

PLO3: Ability to use information technology for obtaining the required data, and computer program for statistical data analysis.

PLO4: Ability to conduct an appropriate oral presentation and writing.

PLO5: Ability to work with others and public minded with moral mindset.

                    • 1.1 = Dissertation only (not less than 48 credits) (Master's degree graduates)
                    • 1.2 = Dissertation only (not less than 72 credits) (Bachelor's degree with honours graduates)
                    • 2.1 = Course work (not less than 12 credits) with Dissertation (not less than 36 credits) (Master's degree graduates)
                    • 2.2 = Course work (not less than 24 credits) with Dissertation (not less than 48 credits) (Bachelor's degree with honours graduates)
