The Closing Ceremony of MFU Young University Leaders Programme 2 (MFU-YUL 2)

     On 30 March 2023, Mae Fah Luang University led by the Global Relations Division and the Personnel Division organised the project presentations and certificate presentation ceremony of “MFU Young University Leaders Programme 2” at Kham Mok Luang Room, M-Square building, Mae Fah Luang University.

     After participating in various lectures, interactive workshops and activities, 56 participants from 15 Schools and MFU Medical Center Hospital were grouped into 10 groups to work together towards practical solutions that are suitable for promoting an efficient university administration and improving academic excellence in various aspects.

     The final projects included 1. Disability Support for Sustainable Education, 2. Social Responsibility Management, 3. Mae Fah Luang University Uni-Health, 4. ONE HN (Hospital Number), 5. The organizational structure of the School of Medicine, 6. MFU-Mental Health Screening and Notification System (MFU-MSN), 7. Ecosystem of Internationalization at MFU, 8. Satisfaction Survey on Health Welfare of MFU Employees, 9. MFU Lanna and Wellness Destination Project, and 10. Chinese Professional Development Center for All (CPDCA).

     MFU Young University Leaders Programme 2 was held from 4 October 2022 – 30 MAcrh 2023 with objectives to prepare the next generation of MFU executives for leadership roles by helping them develop knowledge and skills in organizational digital transformation, management, leadership, human resources development and specific topics covering three clusters: Science and Technology; Health Science; and Humanities and Social Sciences. It also aimed to enhance the networks between participants from different Schools. 

     On the whole, this six-month programme has been successfully completed and has achieved fruitful outcomes in advancing participants’ knowledge and skills as well as establishing a professional network. Additionally, 10 productive projects have been implemented for developing database system, academic and student services, administration process as well as well-being of both students and personnel.
