In addition, this workshop aimed to prepare students to welcome international guests who will join the 25th anniversary of Mae Fah Luang University and other occasions as the impressive and effective MFU ambassadors.

Thirty-four participants including Thai and international students from different Schools were selected to attend the three-day intensive training programme. The programme was divided into three parts including lectures, workshops and practical scenarios.      Furthermore, Mr. Panidone Pachimsawat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Antananario, Madagascar was invited to share insights and practical knowledge on diplomatic protocol, etiquette and table manner by using real situations and experience as case studies. Moreover, the participants visited the Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai International Airport to observe how to receive and see off the guests.

On the whole, this programme reflects the university’s efforts to ensure that diplomats, officers and honourable guests of each country will be honoured and properly treated while they are visiting the university.
