When he saw 2.6 billion people without proper sanitation, he founded the World Toilet Organization in 2001 and transformed the taboo of Toilets and Sanitation into a media darling to give Sanitation its own agenda on the global stage, with United Nations designating 19 November as World Toilet Day. Jack also founded Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) Hub, a business-centric organisation using hybrid cross-sector collaborations to alleviate poverty sustainably through creating efficient BOP marketplace for the 4 billion poor.
