Register Now! ARC10 Debate Webinar 1: Rethinking Digital Transformation

Do you think teaching and learning benefit from AI in the next decade? 
 
With the theme “[Un]debated Ways of Rethinking Higher Education,” a work for the 10th ASEF Regional Conference on Higher Education (ARC10) will answer the call to join the discussion with a critical mindset and contribute to transforming the future of higher education in Asia and Europe as we navigate global developments that higher education must cope with. Speakers representing various contexts will join the ARC10 Debate Webinar Series to engage in incisive discourse on burning questions in key areas of interest in higher education: digital transformation, equity and access, lifelong learning, and recognition and balanced mobility.

Opening the series is the first debate webinar themed “Rethinking Digital Transformation,” which will be moderated by Dr. Wayne HOLMES, University College London, UK. He will be joined by the following speakers: 

  • Prof Dr Blaženka DIVJAK, University of Zagreb, Croatia (former Minister of Education)
  • Prof Wen WEN, Tsinghua University, China
  • Mr Ron SALAJ, University of Turin, Italy & Council of Europe
  • Ms Fatima AURANGZEB, Women in Computer Science, Pakistan

This debate session will focus on the question “Will teaching and learning benefit from Artificial Intelligence in the next decade?” 

Debate Session 1 will be held on 17 October 2024 at 15:00 SGT / 09:00 CET via Zoom.
