On 5 November 2024, four students from the Tourism Business and Event programme at the School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University, participated in the Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia.
The MFU team members included:
A total of 21 teams from nine countries/areas, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, competed in this prestigious annual Asian MICE Youth Challenge, organised by the Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations (AFECA). The competition aimed to foster innovative thinking and creativity within the MICE industry.
The MFU team showcased their brilliant business ideas for event design and planning, impressing the judges with creativity and dedication. Moreover, Mr. Thanawat Sudsaard’s passionate, clear, and energetic presentation earned him the Best Presenter Award.
The university would like to express a special appreciation to Dr. Athitaya Pathan and Ms. Donlapon Suwanthep, lecturers from the School of Management, for their unwavering support and dedication in helping the team participate this international challenge.
