On 9 February 2017, executives and staff members responsible for international affairs and networking from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) led by Associate Dean for International Affairs and Networking Asst. Prof. Dr. Kangwan Yodwisitsak visited Mae Fah Luang University to observe the operations and activities of the International Affair Division and the Public Relations Division.
The main objective of the visit was to provide an opportunity for executives and staff members from both MFU and MUIC to exchange ideas and issues related to organizational management in order to support and respond to their institutes’ strategic plans.
In the international affairs session, participants discussed three main issues including collaboration with China and GMS countries, activities for both inbound and outbound exchange students and short-term training for international students.
All in all, the meeting served as a good platform for gaining different perspectives on international affairs and public relations. Moreover, staff members from both institutes believe they may adopt and adapt what they learned in order to support their institutes by increasing work-place efficiency.
