On 10 February 2025, the Global Relations Division and the Department of Special Investigation organised a special lecture on "Business Operations and Employment of Foreigners in Thailand: Knowledge on the Correct Use of Deposit Accounts, Electronic Cards, and Electronic Accounts" at Networking Space, M for U Centre. The purpose of this event was to provide MFU students, lecturers, and staff members with basic knowledge and case studies regarding legal offenses focusing on nominee accounts, precautions, and key regulations on business operations and the employment of foreigners in Thailand.
Dr.Nichan Singhaputargun, Acting Head of the Global Relations Division, welcomed representatives from the Department of Special Investigation, led by Mr. Suwapitch Manophas, Deputy Director of the Security Crime Division, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Somsak Wangdee, Director of the Security Case Division 4. Dr. Singhaputargun also facilitated the lectures as a Thai-English translator.
This event was a valuable opportunity for MFU students and staff to increase their understanding and awareness of business operations and the employment of foreigners, especially regarding the correct use of deposit accounts, electronic cards, and electronic accounts.
