On 3 November 2025, the School of Integrative Medicine at Mae Fah Luang University warmly welcomed exchange students from Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine, China. The students participate in the Integrative Medicine for Well-Being Training Course at Mae Fah Luang University for a duration of three months.
In the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr.Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President of MFU, emphasised the university’s mission over the past 27 years to cultivate global citizens equipped with social responsibility. She stated that participating students will not only gain academic knowledge but will also develop essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and flexibility, which will contribute significantly to both personal and professional development.
Moreover, Dr. Sulukkana Noiprasert, Dean of the School of Integrative Medicine, reported that this course serves as a significant step towards knowledge exchange and cross-cultural cooperation. The main objectives of this course are to foster knowledge and skills in Integrative Medicine, to promote an exchange of perspectives in Thai traditional medicine, alternative therapy, physical therapy, and health science, as well as to deepen understanding through Thai arts and culture.
The Dean added that the course has been designed to integrate traditional wisdom and modern treatment, promoting innovation and holistic health. This programme will not only enhance academic knowledge but also strengthen collaboration the two universities, contributing to the future cooperation.
Followed the opening ceremony, the event featured a cultural performance and an orientation session. This session introduced the students to the course lecturers, services for international students, a buddy activity, and a campus tour.
