On 12 April 2017, a scholarship presentation ceremony was held by the Division of Student Development Affairs at MFU and Singha Park Chiang Rai led by MFU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanchai Sirichana and Singha PR Director Mr. Rawin Chompunutchtanin.
Scholarships were awarded to 10 Chiang Rai high school students who will study at MFU in the following year. The scholarships were based on a combination of factors including demonstration of academic excellence, good behavior, and financial need.
MFU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanchai Sirichanaexpressed that it was a pleasure to cooperate with Singha Park who is aware of the importance of human resources development. This year remarked the third generation of the Singha scholarship which provides an opportunity for students to further their education in order to be a key part for the nation’s development in the future.
The President encouraged all scholarship recipients to be aware of their responsibilities in their studies and wished them to be diligent and study hard to achieve their goals. He reminded them that once they are successful in life, they must always keep gratefulness and honesty in mind. By doing so, they will maintain their lasting and sustainable accomplishments, both for themselves and for the nation.
