On 24 June 2019, students from the Multimedia Technology and Animation programme, the School of Information Technology won the honourable mention and received 15,000 baht in the content and illustration category in Dek Wakeup, a creative media contest, held by the Power Development Fund, the Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission of Thailand.
Completing against 18 teams under the concept “Electricity is important, use it wisely”, the 1Hundred team showed the creative and useful content to create the understanding and raise the general public’s awareness of the importance of conserving electricity.
The achievement of the IT students shows MFU’s commitment to create graduates who are well-rounded in computer and multimedia technology in order to support the digitalized society.
The 1Hundred team members include Mr. Phassakon Kantipan, Mr. Kijnophakun Chaiya, Ms. Ananya Laochot and Ms. Pakaporn Lewsiripairod. In addition, the other team from the School of Information Technology qualified for the final round was Friefly including Ms. Amornlax Santisakulchai, Mr. Chatthipong Oncharoenwit, Ms. Buphapun Arthakaivalvatee and Mr. Phurateeradon Pimsarn.
