On 29 September 2017, Miss Araya Songsrikate from the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine programme in the School of Health Science won the third prize and received a trophy with 20,000 baht in the oratorical contest.
The contest was organized by the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Foundation (PMF) in collaboration with the MCOT Public Company Limited and the PTT Public Company Limited.
This oratorical contest was served as the stage for students to showcase their skills of persuasion. This year, a contest was held under the theme “The Power of Helping Others” with an aim to persuade the public to realize the importance of helping others.
